a. Professional Development/Learning Communities: The principal ensures that the school is a professional learning community.
"Instructional Framework" Professional Development: This presentation was given as PD after school. The administrative team and our instructional coach worked to create the presentation which included station rotations to each component of the Framework. I was responsible for presenting the "Review" component. I presented to four groups of teachers and staff to explain this component of the lesson, give examples of possible activities, and answer questions.

"Instructional Framework" PLC: This presentation was used in PLCs as an Instructional Learning Round. I worked with my Instructional Coach to create the structure for this PLC which included teachers completing an activity before being sent to classrooms to observe their colleagues. I also created the Google Form that teachers used during the Instructional Rounds portion of the PLC.

Walkthrough Feedback: This photo slideshow features written excerpts from walkthrough feedback I have given to teachers. I also focus on strengths, offer suggestions to take instruction to the next level, and offer my support.

Weekly Lesson Plan Review & Feedback: I review each math teacher's lesson plans for the following week every Sunday evening. I am responsible for ensuring each plan follows the Instruction Framework, the pacing guide, contains appropriate curricular activities, and incorporates appropriate teaching strategies. At the end of the lesson, I provide feedback to the teacher regarding the strengths of their lessons, how they can take their instruction to the 'next level,' and I offer my support. I think it is important to provide feedback if I am requiring lesson plans be turned in and follow a specific template.
